Yaxley Coachworks has built up a reputation for being synonymous with high quality repairs and painting, with a prompt turnaround to customers’ expectations.
The business was originally set up in the late 1980’s and grew to be one of the country’s most renowned CV body-shops, catering for a diverse and distinct customer base.
The Directors, Graham Smith and Andrew Carver purchased Yaxley Coachworks from the former owners in late 2012 with a view to further developing and growing the business to cope with today’s dynamic and continually changing business sector.
The name arises from its early days location in Yaxley, Peterborough, which was quickly out grown and in 1995 a new impressive site was constructed right in the heart of Peterborough Eastern Industry.
This site still serves as the cornerstone CV repair agent to many of the original customers although some have changed names due to amalgamations and take overs.
The workshops are based on a 3.5-acre hard standing site capable of storing over 60 semi-trailers, with a 9 bay bodyshop and 6 bay paint preparation shop. There are 2 modern EPA-compliant 60ft paint ovens that are maintained and serviced by the manufacturers, enabling us to provide you with a paint finish ‘second to none.’
Yaxley Coachworks prides itself with the finish of the paint work and if Formula Onetm teams have been satisfied over the years, then you can be assured that quality is of paramount importance.
By continuing to employ seasoned, experienced staff who attend the latest training programs, we are able to boast over 300 years of experience. Moreover, coupled with our in-house apprentice development program, we aim to continue to share this knowledge with the upcoming youngsters of today.
We pride ourselves with continuity of personnel, where you as the customer can often contact us and speak to the same person each time. Customers not only have a direct line of contact with the management structure but also to the Directors, Andrew and Graham.
